OUR NEXT DAy IN THE FIELD:
OCTOBER 1st
where we will…….
[rain date: sunday 10/2]
-
Arrive at the field around 9:30
After you land at The Field during the arrival window from 9:30-10, you’ll be welcomed with a warm, herbal beverage to sip on as we orient ourselves to the land, the day ahead and each other. The Field is located on a 10-acre private home an hour and fifteen minutes outside of Philly, near Stockton, NJ on unceded Lenni-Lenape land. Exact location will be provided after registration.
-
around 10:30, We breathe and rest on the earth
With a practice based on breath, gentle yoga asana, guided deep relaxation, and releasing into the earth led by Adriana Adelé.
-
we'll break bread around noon
A farm-fresh, family style lunch to nourish ourselves before some deliberately underscheduled time in The Field for you to follow the wind and your whims with…
-
papa boko will hold tarot circle around 1
Dive into Tarot cards with a community in Tarot Circle facilitated by Papa Boko. This is designed to provide beginners and long-time practitioners the space to be heard, receive guidance, and learn about Tarot in a communal setting.
-
or maybe you want to enjoy some space
You could meander down a looping meditative path in the fields.
Or stop at The Little Field Library and get lost in a book or journal and post up in some pillows or in a hammock in the trees.
Or rejuvenate through play and creativity at a playstation curated with whimsy and flow in mind.
-
Around 3, I suggest you Land with Lin
Get your hands dirty as you reconnect to land with Lin! They will guide you through a garden tour where you can harvest, plant, and learn about what goes into the ground in this season for future harvest.
Lin Pérez is a steward of land, a nurturer of things that grow, a leader in regional watershed conservation, and a developer of apps and data driven tools to connect people to nature.
-
we'll reconnect at 4:15 for our closing ritual
A time for us to make altar and reflect on what we’ve received, nurtured, and released through rest, play, and practice.
After that you’ll head home or maybe into New Hope, just 10 minutes away, for dinner with some new found connections.
